Meet the CB team: Lucia Villegas

Meet the Clitbait Team: an interview with Lucia Villegas, Graphic Designer

Name, pronouns and role:

Lucia (she/her), Graphic Designer

Fun fact:

A fun fact about me is that I have always been obsessed with fonts- once when I was 11, I asked an employee at the grocery store what font was used in the window advertisement!

What does intersectional feminism mean to you?

To me, intersectional feminism is about creating space for all marginalised people’s voices and not just those who are palatable and preferred in the white heteronormative patriarchal system.

What is your favourite thing about Clitbait?

I love how Clitbait really facilitates that space for people marginalised across various aspects of their identities, and is a warm and welcoming environment to share emotions and art.

What inspires you?

So many things! Other artists, nature (Blackford hill stands out, and the sea!), books, pastel colours, visiting new places!

What things do you do outside Clitbait that you are proud of?

I illustrate portraits and create cute stickers!

A guilty feminist confession?

I’m a feminist … but I don’t know how to use a hammer or any powertools.

A personal feminist triumph?

Realising that other women’s success isn’t my failure.
